  • Well it sounds promising... I also know that we will all try anything for relief! Hope it brings you some

  • That's interesting. Where are you located?

  • I'm doing a bit of reading up. On the fence still. Ontario, Canada.

  • What are the potential side-effects? Is this covered or expensive out-of-pocket?

  • Still learning, but from what I've read so far .. side effects are minimal, GI upset, inhaled glutathione may trigger asthma attack in asthma sufferers.

Detox symptoms which, would be short lived i'm guessing, include increased headache/migraine, flu like symptoms, brain fog and skin whitening (which is also one use for it).

Glutothione is manufactured by the body but depleted by disease and chronic stress, migraines. You can replenish stores yourself with exercise and diet (fruits and veg, avocado, walnuts etc) but manufacturing companies claim that if you're over 40 or suffer from illness (as below) you need a supplement.

Claims made are that it helps people with fibromyalgia, Alzheimer's, Lyme disease, post concussion syndrome, lupus, MS .. the thrust is that it reduces inflammation, anti-aging, and can also detoxify heavy metals including mercury from fillings.

Not really finding any articles re it helping with headache/migraine apart from a couple anecdotes, and one doctor's "novel hypothesis" .. link to his paper below.

I'm going to ask my neurologist what he thinks of all this when I see him in a week.

  • (Scroll down in the link to see his paper. Admittedly I haven't read it yet)

  • And, I would be incredibly surprised if my benefits carrier covered this treatment.

  • where in Ontario Deb Lang? I am in Ottawa

  • what is the clinic you went to? I'd like to look into this as well

  • I'm down in London :). I'll send you a pm with details Suzane Richmond.

  • You can get glutathione supplements on Amazon, but not sure how well they work compared to the inhaler version. Let us know if you try it and it helps.

  • Subscribing to find out if you find any relief from this. Hope it helps!

  • I think this is probably the best way to absorb glutathione (oral supplements really can't do much). Since I'm not big on the traditional approach, I would definitively try it! Wonder where I could find this in Arizona??

  • Following

  • How much? I would try if it wasnt too bad. But I'm with you, sick of giving money to doctor after doctor claiming they know how to cure my headache.

  • Xxxxxxx Yzzzzzz, did you try it to see if it works?

  • You know what, I didn't end up trying it. My neurologist explained in detail why it's bunk and won't help, and he's quite open minded about alternatives. I'm tired of throwing good money after bad, so ...

  • ok, thanks for the update
